Starting Over

Do you often find yourself feeling overwhelmed with the burden of what your life appears to be serving up to you?
Is it a struggle to push through your days, weeks or months trying to balance the many challenges you are faced with whilst not seeing an end to these constant pressures?
A damaging trait of the human condition is that as perceived struggles mount, our vision narrows.
Our individual life is a mirror of the pictures and narrative we create in our mind, and our ego perpetuates this story with a continuous negative slant.
We become aligned to the difficulties, and we begin to live the drama.
It is interesting to me that our natural default is always to the negative, which in turn raises our anxieties and stress levels.

Another human trait is that we wait to hit rock bottom before we look to the alternative, and this is highly visible when observing those dealing with the various forms of addiction that pervade our societies.
Through training your mind and body to identify the onset of mindless activity, and in turn recognising the immediate need to instigate positive thought, we serve two purposes.
Firstly, we avoid the descent into the dark pit of anxiety, and we broaden our mind to accept a wider view of our situation whilst allowing the various solutions that are often open to us, to present themselves.

What we also fail to realise is that we can always start over. In any moment we have the ability to reboot, to change our focus and to understand that we don’t have time to waste.
Inhale deeply, set your mind and change your life to suit how you wish to live. It begins now…
